Drying Hair Techniques

Hey everyone! Great board! I have hair down to my shoulders and it is very fine hair...as in thin and silky...not fine as in "man that girl is fine"...anyhow. I'm afraid that if when I towel my hair I may be ripping out some of the hair, or accidently breaking it etc. What is the best way to dry hair? I know air drying is best but I simply don't always have time. How is the best way to dry hair without damaging it?
THANKS!

You might consider blow drying on a cool or warm setting. That's what I've been doing lately, works pretty good. I'd say try to stay away from the hot setting, it may frizz your hair too much and/or damage it.

Hey... another 'fine' hair. My hair is about shoulder blade in length
and I have found a gentle towel dry is best, as in just patting the
hair or gently bunching it up and squeezing the water out. As long
as you are not pulling or rubbing vigorously it should be OK.
I usually follow it up with a shake of the head - up and down, 'head
banger' like. Can be dangerous if done before you are fully awake.
:-) That technique probably won't work at a longer hair length.
Dryers are OK too - low heat setting - though I usually don't
bother as my hair is dry within an hour or two. Frizz? Whazzat?
Fine-hairs need frizz.

Hey Girls!
I found that when you have a shower, after you get out of the shower.
you partially towel dry your hair, the comb it back into a low loose ponytail. Then go to sleep. When you wake up it should be dry. So take a straightener and kinda go over it carefully and put some shine in it. I use (vavoom spray shine) and you will get celebrity looking hair! (works on all types of hair)
