Bed Head Manipulator

Anyone else here try this stuff? It works like magic in the awkward stage. Lets you mold your hair like clay almost, but leaves a very natural look to it. Unfortunetly, this stuff is $17 for a hockey-puck sized jar. I've been trying to find something comparable for cheaper, and the best i've found so far is "quick change shaping balm" but it doesn't work as well, and you need to use a lot more to get the same effect. And it's still $10. But has anyone else used and liked (or disliked) bedhead manipulator?

Ive used Bed Head Straightening serum, not for me. Personally, I have never been very satisfied with any of the products ive put in my hair. Wearing a hat for a good amount of time is the only thing that's ever really worked for me.

I have tried the manipulator and it makes my hair feel greasy and I dont get that spike look. I really like Redkin #16 in a tube and I have tried alot.

I have used a Loreal product in the uk called Special FX Out Of Bed fibre putty, This was ok. However the one I use at the moment (which in my opinion is better) is Schwarzkopf pro styling Mess up Gum. I have been completely happy with this product until this week when my hair has just gone crazy... but then that is no fault of the product.
