Hair progress question

I havent posted in a while. Well my bangs now reach between my bottom lip and chin. Just wondering how much more you people think until I can tie my hair back perfectly. I been growing since decemember 2002 (acually I think a 1 week before december). I have had 2 trims or else it would be much longer. My first one was at the 3 or 4 month stage. The reason was because before I decided to start growing it, I use to wash my hair with soap. Therefore the ends were pretty messed up. This trim set me back a bit, the other trim wasnt bad, only like 3/4 an inch or so. Anyway I dont plan another trim until like 3 months or so. Only hassle is I have an oily scalp and need to wash daily. My goal is between bottom of the neck and shoulder length.

If memory serves, I didn't manage my first (complete) ponytail until the back of my hair was touching the nape of my neck, just above the shoulder line, and the front was about 3 inches below my chin.

That was the answer we all wanted to hear. (Well, at least I did)

if your bangs are that long.. you should know your self by now.. you know how long your hair grows each month and etc. i would say your one of the experienced now rather then the 2 inchers asking how long it is till they can get theyre hair in a tail.. goodluck with it altho u should be able to put it all in a tail already with the right brush it will stick in place even if the hair doesnt all go back..

I can well understand the reason for the 1st trim after having used plain soap as a shampoo, but ANY further trims and you will never reach your goal. But the solution is really easy to reach your goal. Just let your hair grow-out by itself and it automatically looks great in the end! Only when TOO LONG for what you are aiming for get a trim. But NOT until.

Rubbish! Common man he's nearly there! If he wants another trim it will keep it looking sharpe, he's unlikely to loose more than 3/4 of an inch and he'll grow that back in a little over a month.

-Who's hair do you have? Not mine! You must be luckiest man alive!

Funny that... I've had Worzel Gumage's for a while myself... then I have hair like Jo Brand (most mornings), then its Tom Cruise's... before it shifts back to Worzel's. But most recently its been Hugh Grant's in 4 weddings, (flopping all over the show.)
- The point - hair rarely looks great on its own! Your a lucky pup if yours does...

Hmm, 'perfectly'? Nobody's perfect :-)
It depends on the size and shape of your head and the route them
little hairs will take around your noggin and into the ponytail tie,
and of course how fast your hair grows.
Patience... you're almost there, if not there already.
