Im growing my hair out and whenever i think about it or see someone with long hair i get a great feeling inside. I cant explain what it is but its the best feeling i get. Are we born with this somehow? Do i just like the fact that ill be different? I dont know but the feeling is awsome

I figure in some way or another that's how we all got started.

That's how I feel, too, plus I wonder the same thing...is it just the fact that we will be "different" with the longer hair, or is it something deeper? Definitely one of the reasons I am growing my hair out is to see how nature intended for it to look!

The early years of growing out are in some ways the most pleasurable. Each milestone, each increase in length brings its own pleasure, and seeing others with long hair reminds you of your pleasure at your own hair.
I have found that although I still enjoy my hair very much, the amount of pleasure is not so great after about five or six years when the novelty and achievements are fewer. Aganist that, there are the extra pleasures of 'remembering when I was at that stage'.
What form does that pleasure take? no doubt sociologists would have a name for it, but I think it is a combination of achievement, of following your own path (often having wished to do so for a long time) and being yourself.

I think long hair liking is a fact that exists insite me and it wants to make the long hair real.
So I have grown it since about 4 years and the fascination for the hair grows with the length, from my feelings I will never stop.
I don't think that the wish to be different is important for me (related to hair growth), it is my wish that long hair will have roots in both gender, I like it for me and I want to see it.
