well, my brother (33) has always been kind of a free spirit. Somedays he shaves his head, sometimes he grows it out. Now he's in the kick of growing his hair out again (he's not commited, just for the fun of it). Then I started growing my hair out almost 14 months ago, well now my dad has gotten into it.

He realized about 5 months ago that he really didn't like short hair, and since he was a teen he wanted it long (he was a preacher's kid, so you can imagine that didn't happen). My mom doesn't really like his hair longish, but she admits that hers is short (though we like hers better long), and we have the right to wear our hair how we want it. She likes mine and my brother's hair, but not my dad's for some reason.

Anyways, now the three guys in our family have longer hair than my mom! And I'm just getting more and more encouraged.
