Straight to the Maxx?

Just wondering if anyone has used this product or know of anyone who has? I just saw a paid commercial(you know one of those half-hour promotional shows. I have thick hair that curls at the tips. Right now my bangs touch my upper lip. If it works, should I still wait until my hair has grown to a longer length?
