Dying for condition?

I was talking to friend today, and he had dyed his hair since I last saw him. Since were both long haired the subject came up, and he seems to think the condition of his hair has improved since dying. I must admit he had less frizz than usual, and his new black and red look was very nice and healthy looking. Is this possible? Or just a coincidence. He said he hasn't changed his regime or products and apart from dying has done nothing unusual to his hair.

After coloring your hair, it will seem to "look" more healthy and shiney. Coloring fills in the hair cuticles making it appear smoother.
But any kind of chemical processing is really not healthy for the hair in the long run if peroxides or ammonias were involved in the processing. Over time you will see the damaging effects, especially if continually processed (dyed).
hope this helps some

If you do continue to colour, make sure only to touch up the roots and not pull the colour through to the ends every time!!!
