Progress pics have been posted. They are taken three day shy of my 1.5 year anaversery of last haicut. I have not had any trims. My goal remains terminal length.

Amazingly fast growth for only 18 months. Your hair grows much faster than average. Absalom

Quite possibly the best looking head of hair I've ever seen in my life. EVER. It's truly a huge inspiration, although I really don't believe I'll ever attain such great looking locks.

On a darker note, I am a few weeks away from the 18 month mark myself, and after looking at your pictures I want to give up. I'm serious, this sucks... I hate to judge myself based on others, but this recent discovery disheartens me quite a bit.

Come on, don't talk like that! You've got a great head of hair too. You don't now how much I envy how easily you can straighten yours when you feel the need for variety. In a few months time, to compensate for your trims, you will have the same length as I....and you probably do a heck of a lot less detangling.
whoops! used my geocities handle (n/t)

Amazing how different a person looks after only a little more than a year and a half of letting his hair grow out. You look good with short or long hair, although I think when your hair is long, the straightened style does look slicker and less "hippie" like.

Looks cool. It looks better wavy and loose than either straight or in a ponytail. Glad to hear terminal length is the goal.

I agree, it looks so much cooler when it hasn't been straightened. Seriously, it's people like you that make me wish I curly hair. Great hair man.
