Male Head/Hair Bands
Posted by JoNty on January 07, 2004 at 16:41:37: Previous Next
I remember seeing someone about a year ago wearing some sort of relatively large head band to pull his long hair back away from his face. Anyone know of these, since I can't find them anywhere. Thinking about getting one while my bangs grow more.
URLs'll help aswell.

In "Being a Longhair" there's a section about using a bandana as a headband:

You need to fold it in half diagonally and then roll it up. Make it go across your forehead around the back of your head pretty much horizonally, then tie it.
That's one method. I tried it with my hair, even though it's not really long yet, it did help, and I think I will soon be using it, as I have several bandanas from my motorcycle gear.

They are bandanas either folded into a strip and tied around the head or folded in half and tied over the hair. I get mine at the "dollar store". I've seen them in other stores but at significantly (10x) higher price. They really helped me during the awkward stage.

Check out Prana (www.prana.com), they make great headbands. I'm sure you can find them in either their climbing or yoga stores with "hats". Many colors, and they look good!
