Like every other one of Orlando Bloom's fans, I think he looks hot with many different hair styles! Long hair DEFINATELY suits him though. The Lord of The Rings is where most will people think of Orlando's 'long-haired look' because it's the biggest film he's been in, but his Pirates of The Caribbean style was extremely attractive (too) and far more managable if he ever wanted to grow and keep his hair that long (fingers crossed!).

He's had it cut relatively short reciently, so the chances of him keeping long hair are minimal. He's an actor, so he has to have manipulatable hair to get more roles, unless he decides to retire. :)

Was it really long hair or was it a wig?
As an actor it would have taken Bloom years to grow hair that long and he could have had other roles in between which required short hair.

Wig I think... well it certainly was for Lord of the Rings... and the last interview I saw with him he had shaggy midlength style and that was at the end of filming LOTR.
Given that I've seen him sporting a mohawk, a buzzcut and a betweener... I think he's up for regular hair style changes... he'd never have the patience just to grow it... Not when there's those wigs available.

He was on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno last week, and he had brown slightly-curly hair that was full in the back but definitely cut above the shoulders. He did not look anything like the elf with long straight blond hair that we've seen in LOTR.

Do anyone else think he colours his hair to get it that vivid dark brown with chestnut highlight colour?...it just seems quite unnatural to me. I have dark brown hair my self and would love mine to look that colour but mine looks golden under most light and I dont really like it (tho it may be my own fault cause since I started growing out my hair I used to use aveda black malva shampoo which apparently removes red hues from hair :-( ).
