To all you RocknRoll lovers...

I wanted to drop a note about a page I added to my web-site that consist of two songs my friend and I recorded just last night. My friends name is Robert McKinney and he is a 80's RocknRoll style guitarist. Yngvie Malmsteen is kind of his style of playing. A very fast fingered individual. Him and I have been in several bands together over the last 15 years and he has written music that I used to sing. On these recordings he played rhythm guitar and the guitar solos. I sang lead vocals and played bass guitar. I recorded the drums using drum rhythms from my Optimus 1150 keyboard. For those interested in hearing these songs, click the link below. Then click the song titles on that page to hear the music. The songs titles are "On The Prowl" and "Game Of Lies" Tell me what you think.
Oh yea, and my friend has long hair, but I believe he is at terminal length and it only reaches just above his shoulder blades at the longest. He is also balding, so this is probably why. Peace!

I had the songs embeded in those html pages. They automatically play in Quicktime on my computer, but to make things easier I just finished making those pages Flash that automatically stream the songs. Hope this works for you. If successful, let me know what you think. Peace!

I used to feel that way, until Dream Theater hit the scene in 1992, and I was introduced Progressive Rock with their single, "Pull Me Under". Then, a few years ago, I was introduced to Symphonic Metal, by way of a Finnish band caled Nightwish, who'd done a cover of a track from the "Crimson Tide" soundtrack. Then, I heard their lead singer, Tarja Terunen - a trained Opera singer - and my whole world changed. They're now my single most favorite metal band in the world.
80's metal is still fun to listen to when I'm feeling nastalgic, but I adore - and prefer - the complexity of Prog and Symphonic metal.

I love 80's rock and I have to say that this is well done.
