(Longish post...)
Hi there.
I've been looking through the history of discussion that's been put up on this board as, before yesterday I had not visited in several months. I read your predicament about your hair and then took a look at your website and read the extensive text you have typed there.
You mentioned that you were not keen on keeping your hair in a ponytail. Is there any reason for this as I think you look really great with it like that. I also think your hair in 'scrunchy' mode is cool as it looks more natural this way. Is all I can say is that I wish my facial structure was as well defined as yours!
I wish you every success with whatever style you may choose in the future but don't despair over the ponytail thing as, like I said it looks great. I take my photos with my hair down but nearly always keep it in a ponytail (it stays cleaner this way and stops it getting matted). As for jobs I felt the same too and had this horrid feeling that I would have to say goodbye to something I'd come to love so much but I did successfully find a job at the end of last year after only three months searching, and it was the first interview I went for.

For the last month or more, as I've previously explained, the longer hair has really become uncomfortable. As I type this, I'm not wearing it tied back, and can hardly stand it. When I wear it in a tail, I feel that I'd rather just have it short. Simply put, at this point the length of my hair is not important, I just want to feel comfortable and for it to compliment my looks.
Overall, I feel I've waited long enough. If Monday roles around and I don't have a huge change in attitude and feeling towards my longer hair, there is a good chance that I will have it cut short by Tuesday (today is Friday). I want to try something new, as long as my current hair is annoying me continually. I haven't really felt like I've honestly felt good about my hair as it is, even though my previous post saying that I want to keep my hair seems. It was only out of fear of change that I wrote that post, but now I think I've come more to terms with how I want this 'hair destination' thing to end. If I choose to have my hair cut, I will probably come to this board every once in a while to offer up advice to those who want to grow, since I have gained much more knowledge by being here.
Thanks for your comments and questions.

Hi
Well at the end of the day it's all about being happy with how you look so that's the most important thing. I do agree that if you feel this way then it may be for the best. One consolation is that it will always grow back if you ever want to have a second blast at it.
Keep us posted and if you do have a new style, we'd all be more than happy if you might want to share it with us.
Good luck in whatever you do. Look after yourself,
Mark.
