Ive noticed there are many celebrities with long hair getting the chop recently, Cruise and Pitt for example, these guys had great hair before but both recently have gone for the crew cut look, very boring.

Yes, but Cruise and Pitt don't get paid millions of dollars to have their hair a certain way, they get paid to do movies, and the movies they star in dictate the hairstyle they must have.

Although I read an interview with Tom Cruise where he talked about shaving his head for Minority Report, and how he said that was a pretty big move for him to do and he was basically bragging about how he was dedicated enough to change his hair for roles. I was like, yeah whatever, if you're gonna be an actor having to change your hair for your roles shouldnt even be of any concern, you should do it just for the acting. Its no big deal

Yeah, that's true. It shouldn't be a big deal to an actor, in my opinion. It's all about the project when you are a performer. Besides, it's not like he looked terrible with a shaved head. He looked pretty cool with it...

They seem to do that every other month. Definately not a longhair mindset, you can't get it very long it you keep cutting it short.
