Same lenth all the way around?

As I grew my hair from a very short, skinhead-like length, the hairs all seem to have grown out at the same length (which currently is just past 'shoulder length'). I've never given this any thought before, and have never tried to compare it to other people's hair, but do you think it looks weird? Or would you not be able to tell the difference?
(I mean in general - I have no picture of mine, sorry)

Not strange at all, and letting ALL continue to grow instead of getting chopped here and there will only help speed-up the process of attaining Long Hair. (In the end it will have a way of coming together all by itself and look great.) Please remember that you have a certain goal in mind that you desire and will please you. So, if possible try and put other people and what they might "think" out of your mind. Good luck..........and let it grow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah!
I never really have given any consideration to other people's opinions (regarding hair), but since I've started posting at this board, I thought I might as well share my little discovery, hehe.

I really identify with your story Mike - my name's Laurence and I'm pedantic. I'm setting up Pedants Anonymous in my home town; I was in denial until I realised I was powerless over other people's misplaced apostrophes. And don't get me started on the various spellings of 'awkward' you see around here....... :-)

unimaginative? narrowly learned? making a show of education?- though if you're given to making shows of knowledge you probably ought not point out your own misspellings
in response to your original question- it's tough without a visual to judge whether or not something looks 'wierd'- you'll need to make that assessment yourself... does it look strange to you?
i'm thinking it'll just appear a bit shaggy- which is difficult to avoid when you're growing out your hair.
who says yours is any different from or worse looking than anyone else's.

I didn't mean it so literally, Zombie - it's just that I corrected something that was quite clearly a casual "typo", because it was annoying me when I looked at it.
I don't consider myself 'narrow' in my self-learning at all, by the way! The educative system in England is indeed narrow, however - almost like a conveyor belt, a production line!
