Does anyone know if washing your hair with hot water can be either damaging or have a bad effect on it?

Hi :-)
Yes it can be. The hotter the water the more natural oil that gets stripped out. For this reason I've always felt it best that people with long hair wash in luke warm water.

I see I see, well as long as the water I wash my hair in is warm I'm good with that. I don't need it hot, just so long as it's not too cool.
