Congratulations! Not only have you made it to the three year milestone in your journey you've been sharing your progress along the way. It is very inspirational. I like the comment on your website that you may be reconsidering your idea of cutting your hair when you get back to Georgia (a beautiful state, BTW). I guess you're wearing your hair down at work? If so does any ever mention it? Just curious. Anyway, well done. Thanks for the update.

Yeah, for the most part, I am wearing it down at work more and more. It's very casual where I am anyhow. As far as anyone saying anything about it I've only had one person ask me how long it's been since I cut it...and he keeps his fairly long himself. Haven't heard derogatory comments from anyone...not to say that there hasn't been any behind my back...I really don't care. I think people are cool with it. The fact that there are two others with mid-back length hair does take some of the pressure off and has certainly made it easier to deal with. I actually think that some people find it interesting. I think we may be influencing another guy at work. After years of being a short-hair (for lack of a better term) he's starting to grow his out. I don't know how long he plans to let it grow, but he's going through a serious early awkward stage right now. I have had people come up to me and tell me they think he looks stupid with it. To me it actually makes him look a lot younger and I, for one, am giving him all the encouragement I can. I told him the other day, "We're gonna make a hippie out of you yet."
Sorry for the long reply,
Brett

: Hey guys (and gals like Sherri)...
Love your site, your attitude and your sense of humour ! The hair's not bad either !
You've got quite a bit of grey going on (like me)and I think it looks great as it is - any trouble with receding hairline yet ? (just curious - I'm in the 'over 39s' age bracket too).
All the best,
Laurence

Thanx for the comments...I haven't experienced any trouble with my hairline receding. I'm sure it has a little but not enough to alarm me. I really don't expect it will be a problem. As for the grey I gave up coloring it last summer. I can't stand it but the color can look rediculous after people notice the grey...and although they say it's permenant it never is.
Take care,
Brett

man, your hair is awesome... I hope my hair will be like that when I grow my hair out.. It's a little wavy and it's thick like yours... With you head banging you look like the kinda guy that plays in a band or goes to rock concerts or something... It's crazy
