: I have five years experience using Unidata / UniVerse as an Analyst Programmer and would be interested in a Senior AP or Development Manager role in the USA.
: Are non US citizens considered for IT positions in US companies and if so, what is the next step - i.e. Work Permit , Intereviews etc.
====they are but this is what you do:
0/ look for information through internet---www.monster.com has many good ads
1/ land a job
2/ persuade the employer to apply for a Work Permit/Green Card for you
3/ After 7-8 months your work-permit arrives
4/ If I'm not mistaken, you get a lawyer, and apply for other jobs with same 'permit'; no restriction on 'living or working'
====good luck !
: If anybody can throw some light on this subject, I would be really grateful.
