Longhair new trend for ''boy'' band

Latest pics i saw the other day on a tv magazine show showed that three of the backstreet 'boys' have let their hair grow MUCH longer--one is actually past his shoulders. Now, i dont follow these guys but you can't help but avoid their pictures all over everything, and i don't recall any of them having this kind of hair length before. Now this, along with Ricky Martin, Lorenzo Lamas, innumerable african american footbal players, the hottest guys in the WWF and many hockey players will inspire the youth of the world to grow their hair. The flat top days are over boys!!!

I have noticed some 'boy band' members having longer hair on magazine covers also.
However, being a long term hockey fan, it seems as though the trend over the past few years has been shorter hair. Jaromir Jagr and Tony Amonte have cut their hair. Some are even dyeing their hair blonde. You still have some Native Americans like Chris Simon who have long hair. You have to look harder now to find long hair in the NHL than you did a few years ago.
On the brighter side, I have recently watched the Sacramento Kings of the NBA and their backup center Scot Pollard is growing his hair out. This is a great change from the short hair styles you normally see. I know Brian Grant has had longer hair also.

Chris Simon, unfortunately, has shaved his head. He looks much worse now.

Doesn't Peter Forsberg of the Colorado Avalanche NHL hockey team have long hair? And does Matt Ricci of the San Jose Sharks still wear his hair longish?

You know what I actually caught some of that skating too and I remember seeing these same guys a few years ago and they had short hair, all but one of them I think. My mom used to teach ballet to some ice skaters, one of them I kinda had a thing for and I sorta got hooked on ice skating for a little while as a result. But yeah I noticed that too. On a side note, my friend who just moved away a month ago cut his 8 months growth of hair which really bites for him. He just got pressured into it and "CHOP". I always end up falling into the same trap too, but maybe this time I'll keep my head off the cutting block!!!

when long hair is gonna be a trend i have mixed feelings about it:
negative: because tehn lot of poeple gonna wear long hair and everybody thinks i'm one of them, i don't like trends and stuff, i got my own style.
positive: chicks gonna dig guys with long hair then, because girls always like guys that do whatever is trendy.
