Like most of you, I have a real infactuation for geled back ponytails. If I see a guy with a slicked back ponytail, I could stare for hours. I saw an earlier posting about Triple H in the WWF and he has the classic slicked back ponytail, neat and soooo nice!! Does anyone else slick their hair back into a ponytail and do you know of any sites where there are any pics to view of slicked back ponytails?

I also question the "most of us." I love ponytails, but I hate mousse, gel, or any other additive that changes the natural, soft, touchable texture of the hair.

I agree with ya Ken. A natural tail is better than one that has mousse, gel, etc in it to hold the hair in place. Plus, I do it more for comfort or to keep my hair out of the way when I'm working on stuff.

While I usually wear my hair without any gel or oil, I sometimes like to slick it back with gel, Brylcreem, Vaseline, etc. I love that slicked-back look on long hair. Though unfortunately I have to admit that most longhairs don't like that look. Likewise, most guys into slicked-back styles don't like long hair. Steve, glad to hear from another guy into slick-back ponytails.

When I slick my hair back I first wet my hair down real good then I slick it all back into a d-a style in the back. Next I use gel for my hair and rub that all through my hair and then I slick it all back again for the last finishing touch. I;ve slicked my hair back other times when I wet my hair down first then slick it all back with the same style on me then I smear cooking grease all through my hair to make it the wet and shiney look on me then I slick it all back again and use the same style on me with the d-a in the back wich I like the best on me the 50s look on me.
