agh, hair sucks

My hair is somewhere between chin and shoulder length. I've had it this way for a couple years, always getting it trimmed when it gets a bit too long. So, its time for a trim again but then last week I thought maybe I would get it cut short. Now I'm not too sure. I'm pretty sure that if I do cut it short or get a trim I probably won't like how it looks; and I can't keep it how it is right now because I don't like how it looks now either.
I guess the moral of the story is that I'm not very good at making decisions, and I should probably buy a nice hat =\

So, was there a question or just a statement? Just use the famous "two week rule" as stated on this site many times...

how about not trimming it and letting it grow even longer?
probably a better idea to try that first, since it'll take much longer to grow it out from a short cut :-)

DON'T CUT/TRIM IT! LEAVE IT GROW! I've been there/done that/ and have always had regrets. After I finally decided to let my hair grow, I am more content with myself---Be patient!!!!

You don't know what to do, so do nothing right now. I don't know you or your hair, but I imagine you may like your hair much better if it was shoulder length, so you can at least pull it back when you feel like doing so. You can't do much with hair the length you have described. After you have given yourself some time to think about it, go one way or the other. Grow it long, or cut it short!
