I am a young boy living in Paris and I have decided to let my hair grow -very, very much...-, but I don't know how to explain it to my parents. They don't like long hair on men, but I really feel the need of letting mine grow, as I have always liked long hair on men and I think I won't never be really happy if I didn't do it. What can I do?
P.S.: I am 1,68 m. tall. Could you tell me, more or less, how long it would take me to grow long hair up to the knees -or the ankles...-? I have read other messages on the board about hair growth, but I haven't been able to find a definitive answer yet. Bye!!!

considering the normal hair growth rate is ~6 inches per year, it's not very advanced math calculating how long it'll take :-)
(one inch ~ 2.54cm if you didn't know)

Assuming that based on your height, it is about 50 inches from head to knee. It'll take 8.5 years.

That also assumes the hair will even get that long. Most hair stops growing at less than a meter in length. It then falls out when the replacement hair emerges.
