Ive been growing out an undercut and it is at my ears right now. i did this b/c my school wouldnt allow "real" long hair but my new school doesn't care. So i thought i'd grow it all out now... but i really don't know what i want. when i see someone with long hair i want to have it, then i saw this guy with an awesome looking undercut and i wanted it. i think they both look great but i don't know which one to get. my hair is really dry/damaged/wavy/frizzy/puffy, so is either style better for this?? im going crazy trying to decide what to go with

You can have both if you want. My hair is frizzy and wavy and about
27" long and I also have an undercut. But I don't cut it very high.
About 1" max above my ears (where my ears connect to my head, not the
tops of my ears). This eliminates the frizzy fringes and just leaves
the long hair. For me it looks much neater and maybe a little cooler.
Undercuts don't have to go way up the sides. You just have to be very
speciffic with the stylist when you are getting one. Hope this helps a little.

Id say let it all grow out, but it is ultimately up to you and what will make you happy.
A word of caution - Short hair tends to tangle with longer hair, especially at the nape of the neck. You need to watch the middle especially and make sure you get all of the knots out compleatly or they can get really huge.
Good Luck
