Hi guys!
Been getting alot of emails from you all asking about my lil scrunchies and so here is a picture to show you how they look in the hair....the twist you see can be worn disquised behind the ponytail...I make them in all colors and have alot of nice manly plaids too...No matter how thin or how thick your hair is I can make a scrunchy to fit...and my elastic does not give out or break! I take the time to handsew the seams closed invisibly so there is no ugly spot to hide.... These sell 4 for $10.00 and shipping is $1.50 in usa/canada and 2.50 to the rest of the world. prices are in us funds.

Hmm maybe I should start using something other than thread to tie my hair
why use scrunchies though? Do they hold better? Or just look prettier? ;p

In my opinion they look MUCH better, I don't think thread would hold my hair at all at the base of the pony. I have used it at the bottom of a braid before and found it slipped out on me there?
much less time consuming just poppin in a scrunchy instead of wrapping thread round and round and scrunchies are hair friendly. I always cringe when I see people wearing those horrible little elastics with metal knives on them......eeeek on the hair! If you have never tried a scrunchy I think you would like it alot!

Not only that, but sometimes you can hardly notice that you've got one in your hair. I've got the Sapphire Blue silk full-size in my hair right now. Don't even notice it. Except when I move my head around fairly quickly, when I notice that I've got a tail. Not like anything else I've tried (normal elastics, ribbon, silk scarves - 2" wide ones that are 6 feet long, or, GASP!, rubber bands).

I have added the mini scrunchies to my store.....note you can get whatever color you want when you order, and size will be as you request....widths can be between 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch .....the red one you see is the smallest size available.....so no matter how thick or how fine your hair is, they will hold for you!
hmm

are you talking about just a very small strand of hair braid.....like the size of a pencil or less? for that I would recommend tin foil......when you get to the bottom of the braid take a small peice of tin foil......either shiny side out or in if you want....about 3/8 inch wide by 2 inches long.....wrap it around and crimp tightly between your fingers...you can add a pony bead or favorite bead first if you like......that may work for you depending on your hairtype......very difficult on shiny healthy thick straight hair.

Yes, they do hold better....they can look as "pretty" as you want them.
Scrunchies are also very easy to use as a hair tie, and comfortable to wear.
