Glad u like my pic! It took 1 yr and 7 months to get to where my hair is and 5 months for my beard to get to 1 1/2". I just trimmed my beard down to 1/4" (I didn't recognize my face for a while) and shaped it up nicer for a job interview (Civil Engineer) on Thurs. I'm planning on slicking back my hair with water and gel into a nice ponytail. Currently I'm an Engineering Technician (Materials and Construction). My boss only noticed my hair when I tied it back into a tail-and then he only said something like, "you got a ponytail". I never got any comments when it was loose and messier. I tie my hair into a ponytail everyday for work and let it down after work.
The cool thing is co-workers comments on my pics of me with long hair that I have on my computer's desktop-they don't believe it's of me only a couple days ago....they think it's years ago "in my hippy days" since I had long hair when I was still in school (this is my second time as a "hippy").
Oh, I learned a lot about how to take care of my hair from Bill Choisser's site and he linked me to the Men's Long Hair Hyperboard. Check out his site if u haven't yet:

What is your goal man? Do you plan on letting it grow indefinately? What about the beard? By July you will look really awesome. When do you plan on posting your next pics? I am striving for your look man!
