what's a doo rag ???

I ride a bike myself and some days ago somebogy posted something about putting a doo rag on.
Can somebody tell me what this is ???

A doo-rag is just a bandana. Lay it over your head and tie at the back of your next - it will keep the hair off your face while you are riding.

Not really! A do-rag is not the same as a bandana. A doo rag is also called a "skull cap". You can find them in many stores. Essentially, it's a piece of cloth that covers the top of the head and ties at the back. Hard to describe.

They are most often black in color. They kinda drape down your neck some, or you can put that part up to. They are kinda hard to describe..you see them most often on Black teens. I understand they are also useful for gently washing long hair, often braids or dreads, you can wear it in the shower and wash your hair through it without messing up your hairstyle.
