I wear my glasses most of the time (I switch to contacts if I'm going somewhere special) and I think they work just fine.
If you're wearing your hair loose, then one world of warning - make sure that stray, fly-away hairs don't get caught in the hinges of the frame. It hurts when you take your specs off!

I don't own any contacts myself. I used to wear them, but they infected my eyes to much from me not taking good care of them. My wife wants me to get some contacts again, but I haven't yet. I'm used to glasses anyway. My hair isn't really that long yet, but hope this pic helps anyway. PEACE!

I wear glasses, and I tend to think they make me look less like a biker (I have a big tattoo on my left arm, a goatee, and I'm fairly large), and more like a hippie. This is cool to me since I am a peace loving guy. The only problem I find is that the hairs that grow around my ears get tangled up by putting on and taking off my glasses. Hurts when I brush. :(

I've worn glasses since I was in second grade - and I hate the damn things! I'm going to give contacts a try, I'm tired of looking dorky with glasses, and I'm especially tired of them slipping down my nose and being dirty all the time.
Besides, they don't go with my dance costumes!

I think one of the prevailing attitudes on this board is that we do the things we want and like, and that is more important than what other, less agile minds think we ought to do!

You can go to eyeglasses.com, upload an image of yourself, and "try on" hundreds of different glasses frames.
