Waist Length and Beyond

I noticed some discussion about west-length hair, and one person noted that the hair longer than waist-length looks disporportionate. I disagree wholeheartedly. My hair is currently 7 inches below waist length and it looks fantastic. Not only does it look great, and I get lots of compliments on it as I walk around the city, but the feeling of my "hair blanket" against my skin is....indescribable. I plan on growing it till it reaches the floor.

There is the practical problem of having to gather up one's hair to avoid sitting on it. That's my criteria: when sitting on my hair starts to become problematic, I trim it.

But one can do it up in a chignon, if one has the time.
Women have done that for centuries, and they've also done
some magnificent multi-level braids at the top of the head.
