time for a progress pic.

Well I’m approaching the 9-month mark from a buzz cut. My hair has been 'growing freely' with one maintenance cut and a trim of the mullet. Other than that I haven't cut any of it.
A shout out to all the other 8/9 month folks out there.

I'm going to try and get it correctly into this post but my html is a little rusty ;-)

Looks like it probably reaches his upper lip or more when pulled, however.

I'm a 5 monther, and I've got the same length. Glad to see I'm not the only one suffering. Its really starting to be a pain in the ass. I better see some serious prograss in the next 4 months, or I'm shaving.

Heh, plenty of people have that kind of length for their normal hairstyle. Just go for a standard 'curtains' look, and be thankful, because it's when it gets longer that there is no style suitable for the length...
You will do far better to except your hair as it is, and stop paying such close attention to its length... It will still grow, however you won't get tired of waiting and end up cutting it; which is what will most probably happen if you're measuring it everything night, or something :-)

I too, am a nine-monther. I buzz cut my hair pretty short last May and have had no maintenance cuts since. My hair is probably a little bit shorter than yours, but its hard to say since mine is slightly curly/wavy and yours appears wavy/straight. But, I do still have all that back hair though heh. Good luck, bro. I'm in this for the long haul hopefully you are too! Don't give up!

You'd be amazed how fast it seems to grow from that length. Especially when you get to the point where the back stops forming "wings", it starts falling under it's own weight, seemingly adding inches and inches very quickly
