I also am looking for pics like this. I cant tell if like hhh has 1 inch all around or narrower around the sides. It could be that when the hairs pulled back it covers the sides up so it is hard tell what the undercut is.

I have yet to meet anyone who was glad they got an undercut. But I have met many like you who were intent on getting one.
The only thing that looks worse than an undercut is a mullet, and both look really silly.
But hye...it's your hair. Knock yourself out. But you really should talk to others who have gone out and done it. Maybe then you'll realize it's not a good idea.
First we had to endure the hockey mullet. Now it's the wrestling (or should I say RASSLIN) undercut.

Is your hair really that bad? In one month of reading this board, i've noticed that _everyone_ here has really thick unmanagable hair. Could it be, that most guys infact have this kind of thick hair, but it just goes unnoticed since most people have their hair short? My hair is also of the thick frizzy kind, however i put up with it, as have plenty of other people in the same situation. What's so special about your situation, that means your hair is unbearable?Hell, it's only appearance. Perhaps you will look really stupid, but should you care? I've sometimes washed my hair in the morning, then let it dry in the wind outside, on the way to college, so that it gets stupidly frizzy and looks stupid. Why? And if you do, and they make fun of it, just introduce them to Mr Fist, and i'm sure you'll feel much better...

I've never seen anyone with long hair have an undercut, in person, only people with short-medium(ears or above), and they look a tad stupid. Yes it is that bad, I know a bunch of guys with long hair and quite a few of them do have pretty ugly hair but it's not as bad as mine as far as thickness.

Yes I do care, I believe the way you present yourself to the world says alot about you. I never feel like looking totally stupid. Nobody makes fun of it, if they did and I liked it I would not be bothered, but I'm the one who doesn't like it so that does bother me. I have no interest in looking like a hippie or having some heavy metal type look, nothing wrong with that, but I feel uncomfortable if I look that way.

I don't like putting gunk into long hair, yes it does work but I hate having it in there. I actually used to feel the same way about undercuts! For a while I saw undercuts and would think one thing... "poverty" (nothing wrong with being poor but i can't stand poverty) It seems like only ignorant teens have undercuts but then I realized that's not true. It's all in the way you present yourself and your clothing... look at Joe Millionaire! An undercut, done in moderation, can look very nice. Obviously most people on this board LOVE long hair and hate the idea of shaving any portion of it, I have a much different perspective.

I agree but HOW are you so sure an undercut is THE answer?
Wouldn't it be nice if a real expert could take a look
at your hair and analyze it. Then give you REAL choices?Obviously, your current hairstyle/condition is really bothering you.
Nothing wrong with that. You are just being honest with yourself & others.
Maybe you are just going through the worst part of an awkward phase?
Maybe not. Only YOU can know for sure what it is that you really like.O, well, what more can be said than this: follow your instincts...

Thanks. Oh and I have asked a few so called "experts", they suggested I get a short spiked haircut.... don't think I'll be taking their advice.

I was actually talking about the very extreme undercuts. In the city where I live, if you go to the west or south sides (the "poor sections") you find lots of people with these extreme undercuts, they are usually teens and causing trouble... which is why I always pictured poverty/ignorance when I thought of undercuts, I know it's not true though. Either way I pretty much have my heart set on getting the undercut... now it's just a matter of finding the picture. Hmmm...I don't know about jojoba. Monoi oil is mostly coconut oil I
think. I just use about 4 to 6 drops after washing (when my hair is
totaly dry) and it reduces the frizz a lot, makes it easier to comb
and makes my hair shinier without the greasy look.
