Nova Becomes Next WWE Victim

From 1wrestling.com:
"This one will crack you up. I got word yesterday that Mike "Nova" Bucci was told to cut off his long hair by order of Stephanie McMahon. Why you may ask? Well, she reportedly thought that he looked too much like HHH with the long hair he was sporting. Amazing."

You do realise that it's all pretend, and that him being "ordered" to cut off his hair, is part of it? Despite not paying any attention to wrestling whatsoever, i'm certain that if he cut his hair off, it would be of his own free will as a person, in order to have a pretend grudge as a wrestler...

Of course, it's all "pretend" or fake as I like to call it. These two guys probably go out for a beer together after a match to discuss the "stunts" they will be doing the next time they are together in the ring. (which is actually a square)
I really gotta laugh when they bring out the chain link fences and folding chairs.
You Mean It's Not Real?

It's not real? Wow!
:-)
What kills me are the people who swear this inane bu//$hit is real!
Rasslin and NASCAR = Undercut and Mullet!
Is there anything more ridiculous than wrestling? Sheesh! It's a choreographed dance with a predetermined winner.

Hehe, yeah. But it is appreciable in that sense as a performance
art. If you're into that sort of thing. Personally I've never
been a wrestling fan. I imagine it must take nearly as much
technical skill as professional acting, since that's basically
what it is, with a lot of physical exertion thrown in, and I
certainly have respect in those terms for those up to doing
the job.

It takes a LOT of WORK that's for sure...
maybe just one false move and someBuddy really gets hurt...
or dies!
I think they deserve credit for that, at least!

As a weightlifter I always admired a wrestler being able to constantly be on the road, not get much sleep and have time to maintain such a great body (well for most) If anyone else here lifts you know that having a body like these guys takes alot more than just lifting weights.

Yah! Those are some real great "real" shows. Wrestling is like Soap Opera for guys in a way..

That's exactly what I tell everyone who asks why I watch wrestling. Glad you brought it up. Wrestling's got all the same aspects of soap operas, with a little more comic relief. And the wrestling audience being made up largely of guys, the writers realize that, to hold our attention, they're gonna need to throw in some guys kicking the crap out of each other, and some half-naked women on the side. It's a lot like watching a theater production where, if something goes wrong, the results are a lot worse.

I really love when people talk about wrestling as if they dont get hurt whatsoever. Wrestling HAS to be planned out because if they did everything real, there would be a new wrestler every week since someone would die everytime. Plus these wrestlers acually are real wrestlers and are some of the best in the mat. Hell even Kurt Angle, a 96 olympic champion who is one of the best real wrestlers in the world said he now realizes how talented these guys are now that he is in it. If you think wrestling is that fake, u should watch some ECW and Japanese wrestling tapes and see some of the crazy crap they do.

You have no idea do you. Yes wrestling is fake, but the backstage politics that goes on amongst the "performers" is very much real. Want an example it isn't fake? Maybe you should check out how all wrestlers as of late are being forced to cut their hair.
Diddo for Test..

'Member Test's locks of old? Well WWE apparently wanted he and Christian to cut their hair real short to match the Unamerican feel with Lance Storm and Regal. Both of course refused.. until Test eventually cut his off with his new Testicles gimmick. Like he'll ever get over anyways. At least Christian was smart enough to keep his.. although he'll probably be buried and/or jobbed mercilessly now. So what would you do if YOU were Nova? Hack the locks and hope to get over with the fans (he will if you've ever seen him wrestle) OR keep the locks and not have a job.
Well. I must admit I'd be a damn good looking homeless guy if it were me. :o)

it's really a shame that this is happening to so many guys in the buisness, aside from the way wrestling is today it's so much harder for us guys just trying to get started in it to begin with, let alone the anti-longhair thing going on now, which to be honist i really don't understand, Test,Nova,Eddie Guerreo,Billy,Chuck,DDP and everyone else that cut it all looked better with the long hair, it just gives you that strongman look, and some people just look HORRIBLE with short hair (anyone remember when Mick Foley shaved his head?)
i look horrible with short hair myself and i don't really like the thought of possibly being forced to cut it in the future

I agree that Test looked alot better with long hair but Mick Foley?? I don't know how he has it now (or if he's still around) since I'm not really a fan of wrestling anymore but I remember him having some pretty ugly hair. It was huge and very messy looking, plus the unkept beard didn't help.

well yeah i'll agree with you there LOL, mick had some pretty messed up hair around 1997/98 but that was his charictor
(also the fact that he would rock back and forth in the ring and pull out his own hair as a pre match ritual didnt help) what happened with him was around 2000 he shaved his head and it looked REALLY nasty then he let it grow out but it's a lot shorter then it used to be, like just to the shoulders, but it seems he takes better care of it now.

Mic Foley is still around. Last time I saw it, he hosts a show called "Robot Wars" - which is excellent, BTW.
