Name for this type of haircut?

Hi,
I currently have armpit-length hair, but I'm considering cutting it. I'd like to get the kind of haircut seen here, but I'm not sure what to tell the haircutter.
I'm going to bring the picture in and do my best to describe it, but is there an actual name for this haircut?

P.S. The girl pictured is actress Clea Duvall from the movie Girl, Interrupted. The image is from the site linked below.

Hey RedRocker, Your post really made me laugh!! I don't take offense. I know it looks girlish, but hey, I like it. What more can I say. Don't forget, some folks think any type of long hair looks feminine on a guy.
"page boy cut"?

This style sort of reminds me of the style that Marc A has. Look at his response post to mickey on 2-12. Ask Marc A, he could probably be of help. Good luck.

I think it would be a bob too. In that picture, it looks to me like the hair has been curled to curl under the ears like that, so you'd probably have to curl your hair too to get that exact look (like with rollers or something). A similar guys style would have the hair behind the ears just go straight down. You could just tell your stylist you want to push your hair behind your ears and have it be even across the back.

I have no clue but someone at my school has their hair like that, If I had straight hair I would probably have it like that but about an inch and a half longer.
It's my style all right, for now

I call it just plain short. You can't see it in the pic but if you saw the movie you would know that it's sure not "long" hair.

Be sure to tell the stylist that you want it one length- not layered.
