Hope I'm not stepping on toes since it says "men's long hair board"...
Had to stop in and say I absolutely ADORE men with long hair!
The pic is my hair 2 years ago. I stopped bleaching it around Thanksgiving and have about 6" of dark blonde hair at the top now.
So, it's not just "goth girls" who like men with long hair!!! LOL

Hi Sherri, I see your reply to my post below about goth girls. Note that I was not saying that only the gothic type like long hair, but was just commenting that the participants of that message are a non-typical population.

As is this one.

As is any board for any particular interest. You'd probably be surprised by some of the women who appreciate a man with gorgeous long hair.
I think that is why so many men with long hair are attacked by boys with short hair. Jealousy, plain and simple. The boys who say things about men with long hair are upset because they don't have the strength of character to grow long hair themselves. They choose to conform instead. And in doing so, they become bitter. Especially if they have/have had a girlfriend/wife who liked men with long hair.

I had gone to Columbus to show some of my fish, and meet some people face to face that I'd chatted with online. It was a BLAST!
That's the only way to keep the soda cold in the hotel room. A party would be a bathtub full of ice, beer, soda, and wine!!! LOL
Oh, no problem! I love long hair, and don't mind telling people so. I'm one of those people who will stop you in the store, on the street, etc. and say "I love your hair!" LOL
You got nice hair there yourself :-)

In searching for long hair sites I've come across many hair care pages.
I've been using whatever shampoo is on sale, and aussie conditioners. I wash all my hair and then condition, then spray on a detangler and comb it while it's wet. I guess that's why my hair is stringy looking. Well, that and the damage from bleaching it.
I'm going to start using the CWC method and see if the texture improves. I've seen some gorgeous hair online, and with the hair care tips my hair might look like theirs someday! At the very least the ends should improve now that I know not to wash them.

Try not brushing your hair too often.
If it gets tangled at night, braid it (not too tightly), and just detangle with your fingers in the morning. That may help dry ends.

I use a similar trick. I put my hair in a ponytail, then i put a couple of hair bands along the length of the ponytail, in order to keep it stuck together and smoothe. When i free it in the mornings, it's always lovely and soft :)
