Short hair is unnatural

It is not natural for a man to have short hair.Nature has provided man with hair that grows very long.If god wanted us men to cut our hair ridiculously short, why would he provide man with hair that grows very long?A man with waist-length hair would be more natural of a man than a man with short hair. The rule of the short haired man is society's delusions, not nature's.Nature is not confused and is very clear on this:man should have long hair, that is why they have the capacity to grow it.Just some logic applied to long hair.

Woops............forgot this one. On the subject of nails: in nature no cutting would be necessary as all would be kept at a reasonable length just by the way we were living amonghts Nature. No Cars, plush office seats and the hetic way Man has chosen to live in which the world is caught up in today. We were (in a natural "nature" state) meant to hunt for food etc. And yes, have brains too. But what has happened? The present way of life therefore (according to Nature) is quite un-natural. And EVERY time Man tries to "tamper" with Nature because we "think" we know better............just look at the results. Extinction and dissaster.

Let's test this theory out with something else: nails. Nails can grow long whether you are male or female. Nature intends us to have long nails. Don't cut your nailsh, boys.
Oh, and facial hair - same thing.
And use blades of grass or flexible twigs to tie up your hair. nature didn't make hair bands, we did.
Just kidding.

he..he...well, SOME guys don't cut ANYthing ...and it is rather gross! But those things are a matter of style or whatever.
Long nails on women is stylish, and growing the nails is WORK and takes
great care.
But on men it can indicate the OPPOSITE...that is, NOT caring
about one's personal apprearance & hygiene ...
ALSO, in many countries, woman SHAVE this and that...
while MEN can grow hair anywhere without looking like they forgot to do so...
What a mess...

: How about the umbilical cord?
Wow, imagine everyone walking with their umbilical cord still attached. That would be something!
The difference with the cord is that it is a one-time growth that serves a purpose for a little while but then does not. Perhaps it would eventually fall off on its own. Animals don't want around with umbilical cords. I know, next time a MLSH reader has a child, ask the doctor not to cut off the cord. Could be an interesting science project.

Jim Carey did a character in the show "Living Color" who was grown up still attached to his mother via his umbilical cord.

I am a father of two daughters. One of my daughters had a medical condition that required that she have some sort of surgery performed through the umbilical cord. As a result, she had the unusual condition of having virtually no cord to heal up after the birth.
My second daughter had a more normal situation where the umbilical cord is cut but some length left intact. What happens in this situation is that it shrivels up and eventually falls off. It's not designed to be permanent and is not made of tissue that can survive in a dry environment (the air).

well we were intended to have nails grow,
but don't forget that in the caveman days people used to dig with their hands and nails, and tear things, make things, cut meat etc. all those things made your nails get worn down or broken VERY fast, therefore they had to grow fast, so they usually didn't get long
nowadays nobody does that anymore, thats why your fingernails and toe nails will get long, because nobody does any of that stuff anymore with their hands and nails

O.K.Let's test it.Nails have different properties than hair does and their intended uses by nature are very different.I'm talking about hair.Nails interfere with some modern activities.Hair does not.Long hair only interferes with society's rules, not nature's.I'm not generalizing and saying we should not wear clothes or hair bands because they are unnatural.Or that we should not cut our nails. But considering that long hair does not interfere with modern activies and is natural and it looks great, than it is even more unnatural to have short hair.Short hair does not serve any natural purpose.Nails are not the same as hair.Good joke though.

Yes, how true. Nature is just too perfect and knows exactly what it is doing. That is why we are not brought into this world with a set of "Hair Clippers." If intended to be short..........nature would have seen to it by herself.

It may not be natural to cut hair, but to each their own. Some men do not look right with long hair. Ditto for facial hair. And I don't think God would care how long or short our hair is; we are all His or Her children anyway.
As for nails, I HAVE to keep my nails short; otherwise, it would interfere with my guitar and piano playing.
Like I said, though, to each their own. Your post, Steven, made me think of a scene from "A Brady Bunch Movie". It was right before Marsha's wedding, and her family noted that her groom-to-be had shaved his moustache. He replied, "She said either it goes or I go." If that had been me, I would have said, "See ya, b!tch!" I could never marry a woman who would ask me to do that, nor would I work for someone who would ask me to do that, because the end result would be the same: If I did do that, then they would be finding other things they would "need" to change about me...

I'm not his, her, it's or their child. If a supernatural being(s) did create us with hair that grew then said being(s) would be remiss to require it short.

OK, OK, I apologize, Hair Religion and Dead Milkman, for making what came across as an all-inclusive statement; I was merely stating what I believe. I can't prove there's a God, but I can't disprove it, either.
And Steven, I'm no biblical scholar, but you can also tell that person that the biblical passage in question refers to Hebrew custom of that time. I think Paul wrote that passage, and some of the things he wrote in the Bible tend to be more of his own opinion rather than from divine inspiration. It says that long hair on a man is a shame, not a sin, onto him. This is where people mix up abomination and sin; an abomination is a shame. Not that it's much better than sin, mind you, but it's not sin, per se.
Alrighty then, hopefully I've got things squared away...

Mankind's gullibility never ceases to amaze me. Here we are in the 21st Century still allowing the ravings of a 1st Century people to dictate our lives. Still we fall for the Christian propaganda which is no more than a crude attempt to make the facts fit the prohesies. All religions are nothing more than the attempts of the few to control the minds of the many. And they make a damn fine job of it, too.
St Paul's letter to the Corinthians is not a style guide for modern man. If it was, we would stone witches to death as that, too, is mandated in the Bible.
Before anyone suggests that I am guilty of blasphemy and will forever burn in hellfire, can I just point out that I don't believe in all that nonsense, so it doesn't apply. ;¬)

I completely agree with you.It doesn't bother me that most men are walking around with very short hair. That makes a long haired men look different, special and independant. To each their own, like you say.The reason why I mention God is that the Bible is against long haired-men(1 corinthians 11:14)I do know this because a religious person has told me this.So I told him"If nature has provided men with the capacity to grow long hair, than why would God be against it?God and nature should be in perfect harmony."After all,if he is so religious and he claims God created man,a long-haired man should make perfect sense to him.But no,since the bible is against it, he puts all logic aside. The Bible is wrong here.Maybe Adam in paradise cut his hair every four weeks(yeah, right),and Jesus was a sinner for having long hair.So I am glad you say we are all God's children.Maybe a long-haired man is closer to God.Even if someone does not believe in god they believe in Nature, and Nature is very clear:Men,grow your hair long.At least some of us have the guts to do it.I don't let anyone tell me what I should do with my hair and some women actually prefer long -haired men, maybe because that is closer to what A man is supposed to look like.So no one has to put up with girlfriends who don't tolerate long hair on a man. This is controlling behavior on the part of the woman.

You mentioned the Bible.
It is a well known fact that STPaul who wrote the NT was bald and hence he was against long hair. Not God. The Bible is a corrupted book.
