Well depends where you live! I live in the UK and usualy buy my Aussie products from Boots, even my little local store stock all Aussie products.
I use Aussie miracle moist shampoo and Aussie miracle moist conditioner for dry/damaged hair, and have just started using Aussie miracle hair insurance leave in conditioner.. I'm nearing the 5 month mark and have quite frizzy out of control hair at the moment and the leave in conditioner really helps control it.
Ohh how often should i use the leave in conditioner??

products that I have had great success with are:
L'Oreal MELTing Gel (I work maybe less than a tablespoon of it
throughout my damp hair)...
and L'Oreal Spray Liquid Gel.
WHAT do these two products actually do?
Well, they:
1.tame that dry, frizzy, flyaway look.
2. Make hair look moisturized and...
3. Give hair a great, healthy shine.
I'd be lost without them.

Hi LucksKind, do you use both melting gel and the spray gel together.? i used to use non brand gel, but since my hair is much longer now than when it was buzzed, i found the gel would brush out during the day leaving my hair a frizzy mess..
I now use American Pomade which gives it a damp look and stays soft and restylable during the day.
I'd be interested to know if your combination gives this effect as i live in the UK and American pomade isn't easily available unlike the L'Oreal products which i always see on sale here.
Cheers,
Grale. :¬)

After a daily (yes, daily) shampooing (using Aussie Moist Shampoo)
and a conditioning (Aussie Moist conditioner...prevents tangles)...
I towel-dry my hair, leaving it damp.
Next I add usually less than a tablespoon's worth of the Melting Gel
and blend it with my hands and fingertips throughout ALL of my hair.
Then I comb (wide-tooth comb) it into a basic style and gather
the rest into a tail.
Now, the IMPORTANT thing to remember is that the ingredients are
different in the Melting Gel and in the Spray Liquid Gel...
The Melting gel smooths, holds and shapes while
the Spray Liquid gel (which contains glycerin) adds moisture...
the are NOT the same and do different things.
I use the Spray gel AFTER my hair is already in place...to hold
the 'problem' loose hairs, etc.
It also takes care of 'dry' hair and flyaways.
You can also use it throughout the day for 'touch-ups' to moisten up
those dry, problem areas...
I realize that everyone's hair is different...but after trying
just about every product out there...
I swear by these two...
and would be lost...
without them!
Hope that answers...
your questions!

I forgot to mention that there is no 'flaking'...
these are quality CLEAN gels...
and the SHINE (especially from the Spray gel) is wonderful!

Mmm sounds like your hair type isn't that different from mine, i have quite thick and strong hair mousey brown in color, and also have to shampoo and condition everyday otherwise it gets more dry and frizzy. at the moment i've only got 5 months of growth from a buzz and it's proving a little difficult to keep under control.!! i have noticed that the extra weight of my hair is now starting to dampen the frizz, i long for the day i can get it into a tail .. things would be so much easier. :¬)
I'll give that melting gel a try see what happens, how long have you been growing your hair now LucksKind..??
