Longhairs in public male toilets.

Hi,
Just wondering about your cases, but for me, it`s a big problem to go to male public toilets to relieve myself.
As soon as I enter, even though I plait my hair, guys keep staring at me, as if I had entered the wrong toilet. Yet I have a visible goatee beard.
And whilst I`m inside, guys who come in see me and think that they are in the wrong toilet. Completely ridiculous these people. Are they blind or what?
How about your case?

Naturally they stare at you, one doesn't see a bearded woman every day! :-)
Seriously, I suspect that you have a bone structure that makes you look more like a female than a male when seen from behind. If it bothers you (which I don't see why it really should), I suggest wearing more masculine-looking clothes and/or long hair style (such as a ponytail tied low at the neck).

might i respectfully suggest that you not concern yourself with what other guys are thinking. it isn't your problem until you make it so.

Hi Tarikh,
I know what you mean, I experience this even though my hair isn't really long. I am particularly short though.
Thing to do IMO is to just laugh it off. Until long hair is more common on males it will not go away.

So, do you think that shorthaired women are having the same reaction in their restrooms?
Or maybe I should say longhaired women as there are way more shorthaired women than longhaired women.
try doing it in a kilt too!!!

Gets interesting with someone like me. Small figure, wearing a kilt, long hair, and earrings! But I guess the thick hair on my legs, and teh 5 o-clock shadow has really helped. What's even more funny is the puzzled looks you get when standing at a urinal in a kilt or sarong. Somehow it just doesn't click in people's mind that a urinal and a kilt go together!!

I don't remember having any problems in mens' restrooms during my more than 25 years of being a longhair, even if I am not particularily muscular or tall. But I have always had a moustache and beard for most of the last 16 years.
Of course a loud fart or two can settle the matters right in no time :-)

That works QUITE well, especially if you're wearing a kilt. 'Course, the other option is to do what our fathers do. Silent ones that creep up on the general public... Anyhoo, back to the matter at hand. I've never had anyone look @ me funny with long hair, even how I usually tail it, which is rather high up on the head. Everyone sees the beard and knows that I'm a guy.
