Fructis 2-1 Shampoo+Conditioner

I have thick wavy dark brown hair and I've avoided
scissors since early March 2003. I tend to comb/shape it to the back.

Being that it's so difficult to control, I've grown
accustomed to using Paul Mitchell's conditioner The Detangler.
It works ok, but it doesn't detangle 100%.

Two days ago, I bought Fructis 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner,
which comes in a green bottle and smells sorta like Herbal Essences,
but not as orgasmic. I was attracted by the claim
that it strengthens hair 5 times and increases luster 3 times as much as an ordinary shampoo.

I tried using it in my hair yesterday, without gathering up too much lather, because I'm striving for the 'straight in the front-sorta curly in the back' look.

Amazingly, this $3.99 bottle gave me pretty good results. Much better results than I obtained by using the more expensive $14.95 Paul Mitchell Detangler.

The product left my hair looking thinner (i.e. less poofy, less frizz)
and looking more wet than dry for a lot longer than after using the Detangler.

Also, my hair feels a bit stronger when i tug on it, which I really shouldn't do, but in addition, it does look shinier.

Has anyone else tried this stuff on their hair?
