Singed hair!

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me with a question. I singed a small spot in my hair at work and am wondering if I should treat the area like split ends. I am at the beginning stages of growing my hair long...about 2 months now.

I'd say so. Depends where the spot is and how much is singed, but it's best to just trim it off as soon as you can - because regardless, (and like split ends) the hair's damaged and would probably split more and more if you left it, I'd imagine.
Cheers

Depends on how bad it is. I singed my eye brows and facial hair
many years ago when I was trying to light a gas stove.
Luckily my waist length hair was not damaged. That was in
the 70s, haven't had the same problem since.
As far as repairing the damage from being singed I've never heard of
a way. Probably the best way to handle it, start growing it
again, if the damage is severe and be thankful you are alive to
grow your hair long again.
I worked as an EMT, some aren't lucky enough to
survive fires and be able to grow their hair again.
Chill Out

I burn my hair all the time. It will become part of your hairstyle after a while. Smoking is sooooo bad ...
