First try with Loreal Vive!

Howdy all, well for my first results with loreal vive smooth intense thus far...
Well today when I washed my hair, I only used the shampoo, not the conditioner. The reason for this is I wanted to experiment and see how it worked. I liked most things about it, the smell is pleasent, it lathered nicely, and left my hair(once it dried) a little nicer than other things I had used. It left it reasonably soft and it layed down fairly well. However, it was not quite as great of a result as I had been hoping. Tomorrow though I am going to use the conditioner. My questions to the vive users, do you think the conditioner will be what makes the difference? Does the conditioner add or decrease the volume of your hair? (It seems to me that most of the conditioners I have used anyway increased the volume, hopefully this willbe a different story.) I'm willing to experiment around, though. Thanks

The best way to get these answers is to use the conditioner yourself. Only you has exactly your type of hair.

Were you the poster who said that ViVE makes your hair seem shorter??From what I remember, i think that was you. Just thought id say that i too, find that it makes me look like i got a haircut! I don't know what it does to curls, but man, they really tuck up alot! This comment wasn't worth creating a new topic for, just thought id include it in this VivE topic. :) Yah, my hair looks really short!

Your memory serves you well. The back of my head seemed to become exceptionally wiery and curly. There wasn't a lot of hanging down, thus it appeared shorter. No matter what product line I use, though, my hair is curlier right after washing. I suspect this is true for most people.

Sid, you sure are drawing this out. What is making you hesitant to try the conditioner for yourself? The shampoo won't yield any real results except to clean your hair. The conditioner is what makes the difference and it won't destroy your hair to try it.
Hair Religion is correct...

Most of the 'special effects' you are looking for would come from the Conditioner...
and not the shampoo.
I have been using it for a while now, and you can know this for sure:
ViVE will NOT add volume...if anything, it will smooth out your hair
and make it better behaved.
Of course, NO product is good for everyone! Let's never forget that...
but so far I am pleased with the results I have been getting.
Good Luck!
