Getting called "Jesus"

I was just curious as to if I'm the only one on the Board who gets called Jesus? I have wavy brown hair (but no goatee) and I guess in a few ways I look like the stereotypical image of the religious figure (Tall, slender nose, etc.).
I've never been called Jesus by anyone but my friends, and mostly in jest, so I'm not sure how I'd feel if it were by someone else how I'd feel.
So my question to all of you is:
1) Have you ever been called Jesus because of your hair?
2) How did it make you feel?

I even have the Jesus beard, so I get it from everyone and their mom. I don't really see a reason to let it bother me. Actually we joked around about me dressing up in white robes and freaking people out.

I get called Jesus all the time. My own daughter, when speaking to her friends, calls me Jesus.
This first started happening about 10 or 11 years ago when I started growing out my hair after chopping my mullet to get a job. At one point, I used to hang out with two other guys here in Austin who also had long hair and were sometimes called Jesus. We called ourselves the Jesi (plural of Jesus, see).
Mostly I just have fun with it, but I try not to be sacrilegious. I once was confronted, ironically, by a girl named Mary, who was offended that I dressed in the robe to look like Jesus. I wound up having a conversation with her that lasted about an hour. At the end of the hour, she was no longer offended, and we were friends.
Sometimes it's just weird. Some people literally believe I am Jesus. I was at a bar last year, and a man approached me asking whether I was Jesus. I used to always answer this question with, "Who do you think I am?" or "Who do others say that I am?" but in this case, I just told him no. He stared into my eyes for some time, not believing my answer. He got on one knee and bowed his head, then explained that he didn't want to have really met Jesus and not be prepared. I told him that Jesus probably didn't really look anything like me, etc., but he wasn't hearing any of it.
He went back to his table, and a while later, still at the same bar, I walked over to the door lady and told her about what had happened. When I finished telling her, she acted like she didn't hear properly and was asking me to repeat. About this time, the man walked up to me, took my hand and kissed it, then went back to his table. I told the lady, "See, that's what I've been trying to tell you. This man thinks I'm Jesus."
In the above incident, I was not dressed in the robe as pictured here. Another time, though, I was at my old favorite pub, Shakespeare's Pub, dressed in my robe, and a man with a broken leg and crutches saw me from across the room. He threw his crutches away and walked over to me to give me a hug.
The whole reason I have the robe is because I used to hang out at a local comedy club, the Velveeta Room. People started telling me I really looked like Jesus and could be very successful dressing up as Jesus and telling Jesus jokes. At one point, a visitor from New Mexico gave me a leather pouch to hold my notes for this. So I decided to give it a whirl. I went to Lucy in Disguise with Diamonds, a local costume shop, and bought a Siekh's robe. I put some jokes together and made my debut as a stand-up comic.
To make a long story short, I crashed and burned, because I'm really not a comedian. I think the only good part of my show was when I turned water into wine.

Have you ever seen 'The Life of Brian'?
With your name, you should just say 'no, my name's Brian' , but people won't get it, so you could use a few lines from the film, like 'what have the Romans ever done for us?', which the knowledgeable will reply to by saying 'well, there's the viaducts', or just launch into singing 'always look on the bright side of life' (in the film, Brian sings this after they nail him to the cross).
Of course, unlike Mel gibson's film, it's not controversial because it's not about Jesus, it's about Brian. The appearance of Pilate, Barabas, etc. is just coincidental.
Pythonesque jests apart, I have often been compared to Jesus, and that's fine. Not a problem atall.

Yes I did, many times.
But I dont mind, if it`s just a sweet word and when it doesn`t come from teasers, mockers and plain stupid people.
Most of the time, I tell them that no one really knows how Jesus was since it dates from 2000 years and they had no picture of him.

I have been called Jesus before, and I consider it a compliment although it is also sacreligious. I am nowhere near as perfect a man as Jesus was, and feel that the people who call me that are insulting him.

I don't think it's sacrilegious at all. I don't think the people are suggesting that you are perfect but that you look like their image of Jesus. What's sacrilegious about that?

Its a common name over in Spain.

Not been called Jesus, myself and I'm unlikely to because its actually a common christian name in Spain (and I suspect in most latin countries).
Its spelt the same, Jesus, only they pronounce it he-sus.
The letter J is pronouned as a gutral H in Spanish.
Its not considered the slightest bit sacreligious to name your son Jesus, infact its no different than any of the other biblicle names.
About the only Bible name that has widespread avoidance is "Judas"... hmmm wonder why???

But, I'm not a Christian so that really dosen't enter into it. I'm a mix of wiccan and asthetisist (Not to be confused with asetic, an astheticist is one who worships beauty)

Yes, frequently... mostly by rednecks and ill-mannered teenagers hanging around in groups. But now, as my beard became longer, they more often shout "Osama! Osama!" - partially also because in the cold season, I usually wear an Afghan woollen cap (those with a rollable brim, called "chitrali cap" or "pakol") exactly the color and style like OBL on his last video... which doesn't mean any sympathy for al Qa'eda or Taliban, a friend bought me this one years ago on a journey to Pakistan...
See you in Khyberspace!
