Red Harvester Ant

Here's a picture of a worker ant. This may be the one that was acting weird. When I was photographing the ants, I was having a bit of trouble settling in on a single ant. Then I spotted one that looked sick or was dying or something. It was not moving around much but was getting into some odd postures. This gave me extra time to position my flash and ensure everything was in good focus. Click on one of the thumbnails below to see a larger version of that picture.
