Hi guys,
I've done a slight update of my (still crude) site. Sorry that I couldn't deliver my promise on 10th Dec, due to some technical screw-ups on my PC.
Hope you'll like it :)
Cheers,
Jin

Looks good, Jin! Don't sell yourself short. A site doesn't have to have a bunch of bells and whistles to be good.

Jin,
Great job on your site! It was fascinating to follow your hair history over the course of 2 years. It was nice that you gave the exact length of your hair for each update. It's truly amazing how fast your hair grows - way faster than the average 1/2 inch per month. I'm jealous. Has your hair always been this way or do you attribute this to biotin?
I'm curious, what are your future goals? Are you going for terminal length?

"I'm sorry about your grandpa, may God bless you and your family"
Nice progress pics......did it take exactly 2 years to grow it to 20 inches? because when i started my new school year i did a stupid thing of cutting my hair but now i can grow all of it out including the underpart where i see most people shave (undershaves) so wish me luck as i continue to grow my hair again

congratulations on your progress. 17 inches of growth in 2 years is considerably better than average... and you have the advantage of straight hair which will naturally fall to its full length. i am at the 5 year mark and didn't get your length until well into my 3rd year. at this point i figure i'm within 12 inches of my terminal length... probably closer to 6 inches away.

Hey Jin,
Great pics and site!!. I'll be celebrating my second year without a haircut on the 13th. Wish I could say my hair looked as good as yours but it doesn't, but I still thrilled to reach this milestone. My hair is a little over 12" and below my shoulders adn I'm loving it.
More info and pics soon I hope
Anyhow, great job, keep it up!! Hope our "haircut free anniversaries" keep going for many years!

Like it, I think it's fantastic - both the site and your hair growth. I find it inspiring. You will look awesome with waist length (or longer) hair, Jin. Keep it up.
Thanks guys!

Hi Longhair Scott, Hairy, Stanley Bey, Tommy and j.s.,
Thanks for your visits to my site. Your compliments and encouragements are deeply appreciated :) In return, I'll try my best to keep this site updated and improved once I have new pics to show.
Scott, thanks for your encouragement and glad you appreciated my work :) Hairy, through these 2 years, I had trims (1/2 to 1 inch) every 4 months for the first 12 months of my growth and had one final trim in May 2001, thereafter, my hair was left to its own devices.
Stanley, I wouldn't attribute this fully to Biotin. It is partly due to my greater awareness of having balanced meals and the importance of suffcient rest and exercise. Of course, to have great hair, I cannot do without the range of Joico's shampoo and conditioners, the products that I found, suit me the most. I do have protein treatments once every 2 months with my trusted hairdresser to keep it in optimal condition. In fact, my hair was as curly as some of you guys over here but strangely, it made a turn for my present condition after my military induction shave. I intend to grow my hair as long as possible, so long as it does not cause serious inconvenience to me. Hence, if I feel my terminal length does not affect me much in my daily life and it is ankle-length, I keep it that way ;)
Tommy, thanks for your condolences. I don't think I had 20 inches in 2 years, it's about 3 inches short of that. Actually, I thought I could have achieved that if I weren't gone for that op in January. But anyway, growing hair out requires lots of patience and proper care. I am lucky to have being blessed with straight and fast-growing hair. I wish you the best in your hair growth and you could refer to the "Hair Boutique" that I frequent for hair tips, they provide excellent ones.
Thanks j.s., I guess you said it all.
Take care and God bless.
Jin
Thanks :))

Thanks for all your comments and encouragement guys, I really appreciate it.
Now my answers to some of your queries.
Yes, Hairy. I had regular trims every 4 months (each time about 1/2 to 1 inch) during the first year of growth. Afterwhich, I had only one and final trim in May 2001.
Stanley: My hair isn't always this way. It was terribly curly and frizzy during my high school years (and it really sucks!!). But amazingly, after I had my military induction shave, it grew out to be straighter and tamer (during which, I met my trusty hairdresser that I had till this day, guess she tamed it, lol). Actually, I wouldn't attribute everything to Biotin since I've only started it 9 months ago. But I must admit it really helps in restoring my hair volume after that op in January. Quality wise, I feel a balanced meal is essential. Also, sufficient rest (8 hours of sleep per night) and frequent exercise helps a long way to having a glorious mane of hair. Of course, I must credit those fantastic Joico products, which I found it most suitable for my own hair. I think I'll be growing it out as long as I feel it convenient and comfortable to have. This means that, if I were to have it at terminal length and its to my ankles, without having me feel too much of an inconvenience, I'll keep it that way ;)
(Tommy) First and foremost, I appreciate your condolences and blessings. I do not think I had 20 inches in 2 years, it's 3 inches short. But anyway, I feel if you're really serious about growing beautiful long hair, you should hunt down a hairdresser who specializes in long hair care, whom you can trust. Of course, you must surely arm yourself with some prior knowledge to long hair care before you approach them, just in case some of those incompetent buggers throw some smokescreens around, you'll be able to see through them. Good luck in your hair growth.
As for the rest, you've said it all and I thank you for your compliments. For that, I'll try to keep a constant update of my site as long as I've got new pics to display.

Mt last mail went for "screening" and I thought it wasn't going to "pass" it. Hence, this additional one. Please ignore those tedious repetitions I made w.r.t. the last one, it wasn't out to train your reading skills ;)
