This is what he has know. Its a shame, I don't judge, but if its a serious problem you've got that forced you to do it, I hope you solved it. I didn't shave, I just cutted back the mullet look, but anyway, hope we still see you around in the future

Hey dude, love the hair! Ive been growing mine out for only about 3 months. it's long enough for a small ponytail but soon enough it'll be nice and long; I was also wondering if you have any tips or different styles i could try?

Nice to hear that you're growing your hair out too.
Before my decision to leave my hair loose at all times (see my thread below), I usually wear it in ponytail or a single braid. With your current hair length, I should think that you can only wear a ponytail. Perhaps, at the 1 - 1.5 year mark, you can start trying a simple braid (especially when you go to bed, you wouldn't want the horrible tangles in the mornings).
If you're more daring, you can try pigtails or double braids. Such dos will enhance the beauty of your long hair (next to having it loose), but the downside is that you MIGHT get unsolicited "wolf whistles" (at least, that's my experience).
Anyway, I think I'm still quite "green" towards hairstyling (I'm trying to learn how to make a bun next). I've seen Jarrko's pics and I should think that he'll know more than me. Hope he's reading now.
Cheers,
Jin

Buns are easy. Just make a ponytail where you want the bun to be. Then twist the tail. Keep twisting, eventually, it will collapse into a spriral around the base of your ponytail. Keep twisting as you wrap it around. When you get to the end, just tuck it under your bun. Then, use a larger pony holder and wrap it around the bun to hold it in place. I usually wear a bun while working out or when changing the oil on my car, stuff like that.
What I'm trying to learn is how to make a French braid.
Thanks for your suggestion
