Your Marital Status

Ok so you guys don't like my target cut, fair enough, but I do :) lol.
I am just curious on your marital status. Are you single, married, etc?
I am single at the moment and have been for ages which I think is because of the longer hair, so I am just wondering if and how long hair is affected you for the better or worse when it comes to a partner.
Cheers, James

I am married...eight years now. My wife did not know me the last time I had long hair. Since I stopped cutting this past Feb from a high/tight flat top, she did not like it when it was sticking up all over the place. Now she is starting to get envious as it gains length because it is the type of hair she would rather have than her own. BTW, women that I work with are starting to take notice as well.

....Marriage is a complicated issue and involves MANY different factors.
There might be a million women chasing after your long hair...
...but should THAT be grounds for a marriage?
....and then the woman's Family might protest your Long Hair...
...and say, "Cut it or we don't pay for the wedding."
...OR the Father of the Bride-2-Be glares at you with his KnifeEyes...
...of looks that could kill which makes you gulp and look away...
...while the Bride-2-B looks at you through the eyes of love....
...aaaaah so...so complicated...
...Quick...catch the bouquet!

Single by choice. Long story.
I dont think my hair is too much of an issue though, i've had girls say nice things about it.
I know a lot of women dont like long hair though, and short haired guys proably do get more dates n stuff. It has been said before, but women that are attracted to long hair are usually really hot. Those that really dont like it always seem to be shallow anyway.

It's sooo true...the women who don't dig long hair come off as being shallow. The ones who love it are so much more loving, caring, passionate, sincere, and most of the time are hot...definitely agree! They've got that special quality to them!

Sorry for the bogus post...
Married for 18 years. Have only had long hair for the last 4. Wife can take it or leave it. Thinks
I look good with it, but was fine with it short. Gets annoyed when my hair clogs the vacuum or goes
up her nose!

Happily married, for 15.5 years now. The first eight of those I served in the U.S. Air Force. Needless to say, my hair was a bit shorter.
My wife loves me. Long hair, short hair, pants, Utilikilt, earring, no earrings, body piercings or not. She is very special to me.
My kids (two boys and a girl) all have short hair. They think it's cool that their dad is a "hippie."
Her mother, with whom I get along famously, HATES my hair, but accepts me anyway.
My mother, who is 77, also hates it, but doesn't bug me about it. She knows I'm an adult who makes his own choices.
I hadn't thought about it, but I guess I am quite blessed!

My wife of 14 years is very happy that I am finally achieving long hair that isn't mullet style like I always had in the past. I razz her sometimes with comments like, "Oh, I'm getting fed up with this hair, I think I'm going to cut it!" I'm only joking of course. Most the time she says she can't tell if I'm joking or if I really mean it. This is because of all the many times in the past that I said I was going to grow it long and then end up buzzing not too long after saying it. Yea, my wife is fortunately very supportive! PEACE!!!!!

In a relationship for 26 years. He was longhaired the day we met, and three weeks after I moved in, he cut it off. I thought it was a "phase". Well, that was in February, 1976, so he's been shorthaired for quite a while. And I still love him more than anything.

Single legally, in a committed relationship effectively.
BTW I asked her if she likes my hair long or short.
She said 'Short'. Her hair is about 3 inches long. She has a thick, full head of hair and short hair looks nice on her.
Before I met her, her hair was down past her waist. She cut it off one day after 18 years of letting it grow.
Her opinion is just an opinion... Won't affect my decision to grow my hair.

I'm married, 7 years This next Sunday.
I had long hair when I met her, so she hasn't seen me any other way.
Never had any problems dating girls with my long hair, I suppose it depends where you hang out.
Don't give up.

Single (well, actually divorced -- no children). Had several relationships but just can't seem to find an honest woman (does such a creature exist?).

Here's what you do: Cut your hair off, find a partner and then grow it really long. They will see you for who you are on the inside and stay with you even if they don't like the long hair.
Written by a man who has done the above. Ha ha ha!
