Sexual preference is in no way, shape, or form, connected to one's desire for long hair.
none

Well, it might make a difference to Andy if he is having trouble finding a boyfriend, but this is not exactly the best place for that. He will find what he is looking for here:

Ah yes, welcome to the wonderful world of online paranoia.
What is the reason this question was posed in the first place?
An attempt to find another Longhaired man to start a relationship with?
An attempt to see if everyone here is just a poof - which therefore renders this board unfit for a hetero Longhair to partake in?
An attempt to troll for comments and start a new flame war?
Or just an honest question posed by someone who is just starting their Longhair experience and unsure of the ground they're standing on?
Hmm...
In the end though, I'd have to agree with the others that orientation really has no bearing on hair length or its shortness.
If you are specifically looking for gay & bi Longhairs then there are ample resources for you to do that. If you are worried that hanging out here might imply something as to your orientation, then your fears are groundless.
Now, let's get back to stuff about Longhair!

...fear and paranoia...
...did you ever notice that? 'I'm NOT gay' said proudly
as if it was a stroke of good luck...
...but I understand nobody 'chooses' their 'orientation'
...homophobia is alive & well across the WorldWideWeb...
I would say it sad...
BUT it's just a FACT of Life.

I don't think it's a matter of percentage. The board is either gay or it isn't. Personally, I never gave much thought to whether or not the board was even sexually active, seeing as it's electronic and all...

i don't think it really matters what the sexual orientation of the posters here are, it dosent matter if your straight, gay bi or whatever. people come here to discuss hair, not sex and i really don't think theres any diffrent reason for a gay person to want long hair then for a straight person to want long hair,in my opinion i don't think it really matters what the orientation of people who post here is
by the way i'm a COMPLETLY Straight person
but i'm not homophobic in any way and i don't have any problem with gay people

Actually, the kind of question that nobody would ever be able to know. And for what it is worth..........regardless of sexual preferance, liking to be a "Longhair" or not is the main issue isn't it? (This board is for "talking" about Long Hair for Men....sharing ideas, tips, discussion about growing-out ones hair, sharing experiences, etc.) Or have I missed something someplace?

a few of the posteres here are definatly radical Christians... and you really cant dispute (well, you can, but your success will be limited) that homosexuality jives with the Christian bible.

As a straight Christian, I am disappointed with the kind of radical Christian who claims to know exactly what the bible is saying on the gay issue (and everything else, too). My reading of the bible is based not on taking a few words out of context, but in understanding the general ideas behind what is being said, bearing in mind that the bible is composed of many books by many authors, none of which was himself actually God, merely a would-be-informed follower. As such, I read the bible's teaching as one of tolerance, except where an activity harms someone else. For example: long hair on men is OK, gays are OK, but sexual activity with the under age isn't.
That's just my view, and I tolerate those who don't agree with me.

well i'm a Born Again Christian
and a straight male and i have NO problem with gay people
thing is a lot of so called "christians" like to take things out of context as an excuse to hate other people
and thats what a lot of people do, and it's wrong
it also says NOT to judge other people because that is not our job, it's GOD's
i don't think it should really matter to us if it's "right" or "wrong" because that is not for us to decide, it's for GOD to decide, and i believe that should be left to him
so i don't judge anyone because it's not my job and NOBODY else should
jesus also taught to love your neighbor like yourself and thats what i try and do, i don't think it should matter if they are straight or gay

For your statistics - Yes I'm a homosexual growing long hair
- not as many would belive to be more "female", but because I think
long hair'ed men look nice.
