Beer?

Rinse your hair with beer makes it shiny and healthy. Do you know exactly how often itīs best to do this and how exactly does it work (shampoo-beer-shampoo-water or just beer-water,...)?
mayonaise works as well**

I've never tried it. I'm not sure.
But...can you imagine getting pulled over by the police after a "berr conditioning"?
"Really officer, I haven't been drinking. Really! I conditioned my hair!"
Mayonnaise does work though as someone pointed out.

Like, do you think Michelob Light works as good as say, Samuel Adams? Do you experiment with this? What about hard liquor like Goldschagers? Man I wouldn't want to be around anyone lighting up if I did that!

I've heard of it but it sounds like a fairly low-budget-after-party way to try and take care of your hair. It has to do with some of the ingredients in most beer. A company even came out with a beer shampoo in the 80's. I think that faded pretty fast. Beer won't do anything better than hair care products (decent ones) and certainly won't clean your hair.
Yeast?

I think it has something to do with the yeast in beer. It supposedly gives you more volume.

Beer works. The more I drink the better my hair looks.
;-)
Can you still drink it afterwards? (nt)

I believe this may be similar to how rinsing with cold water or vinegar works. it restores a bit of the ph balance and closes up the hair cuticles
