It is HOT!!!

It is very hot. This is my first summer with hair that goes past my shoulders. I am not sure I am gonna make it the whole summer without freaking out and cutting my hair short. In some ways it seems like an insulation from the heat, but it is still WAY hotter than I remember it being when my hair was short. I am thinking about just cutting it to right above my shoulders where it was last summer.
How do you guys stand it? Any tips before I buzz it all off?
Thanks

Dude, you'll cry yourself to sleep if you cut it now. Wear it tucked up in a ballcap, ponytail, anything, but if you cut it, you'll regret it, guaranteed. Been there, done that (went to a buzz a couple years ago, letting it grow now). If long hair's what you're working toward, put up with the heat, dude. Come winter, you'll have regrets. Keep the goal in mind and just don't give in to momentary madness, man. Josh

Try a ponytail...
if you do it right it will feel so very cool
anyway, if you are even thinking of getting buzzed...
it doesn't seem as though you are that commited to being a Longhair.
Good Luck!

That`s true. It`s hot and I hate when my hair sweats.
Only one way, try to rinse your hair as often as possible and use just the conditioner. I guess it might help a bit

Move to a colder climate - works for me :-) Actually, when I have
to work in a hotter environment I pull it back into a 'high'
ponytail' to keep the hair off the neck and it feels as cool as
shorter hair, but looks way better. Combine that with a hat and
a cold drink (like slurpies!).

Put your hair up into either a high ponytail (a low one doesn't work as well for keeping the hair off the neck, so, tie it at the crown of the head and let it hang down), or into a bun.
