I like the pictures, of your hair, dry rather than the wet hair shots on your website. You mentioned you may post more "dry" hair pictures...do you have those on your website as yet?

I second the comment that your hair looks so great dry. It would be so nice to see more of these shots on your website.

I'm not fooled. You may have "sort-of" long bangs, but the rest of your hair is short.
I'm not surprised he cannot tie it back, he has a ways to go.

Well, can't say I was trying to fool anybody for any reason, but yea, my hair is various different lengths. My hair is growing back out from a cut I had done to fix a bad under-cut decision about 7 months ago or so. So this left it longer some places and shorter some places. You know, extremely layered, if you will. This really doesn't bother me for now because my evening-out maintenance cut will be in the future when the most longest parts reach somewhere around my shoulder-blades, and even then it will still be layered, just a little more proportionate, I guess.
You know, Brian, it is sometimes a little hard to know just how to take your semi-critical comments with the way you present yourself. I am not really sure if you like me, but for the most part, you are greatly appreciated. You kind of balance things out between curtiousness and being frankly blunt. Thanks, my friend! Peace!

There is a different between blunt honesty and complete lack of tact. You've made great progress so far, so why would anyone want to cut you down? Yeah, you do have a ways to go, but take it a day at a time and don't worry...pretty soon you'll wake up one day and say "Hey, where'd this waist length hair come from?!" Trust me, it happens ^_^

He's not trying to "fool" anyone. What's your problem?

He is measuring differently than the women's sites. They go from the front scalp to the longest point of hair in the back. If he were measuring that way, it would make his hair appear to be much longer. He's being completely honest.
What is your problem? Are you jealous?

I say this with the utmost respect, but the topic is clearly "My Current Bangs Length." I don't believe he was talking about the rest of his hair.

Thanks for the kind comments. My new pics will be updated on my site probably tomorrow night, though not due untill the night after, but oh well. As I stated on the pics pages, the wet pics will be links to dry pics. You know, the way our hair looks on any regular day.
For those who don't understand the motive behind wet pics, it is because wet hair defines the length better than when hair is dry and bounced back. Especially in the shorter stages of growth. I to must say that I like the way dry hair looks over wet, but after all, my site is a length progress site, so wet pics dominate for that reason alone. Thanks again and Peace!

taking monthly pics to track his progress. He is taking pics of his hair wet because it will show the true length.
If you have wavy or curly hair, it will look shorter dry than it actually is.

What does your wife think of your hair? Does she prefer it short, medium or long, or does it even matter to her? And your hair has grown so fast in just the past 7 months that whether it's shown dry or wet, it's getting lonnng, especially in the front.
Also wonder how you handle hair when it falls in front of your eyes. Does that really annoy you or do you just take it in stride, not minding having to push it aside with your hand or with the toss of your head?

First off, my wife loves my hair long. Long hair on guys has been her thing since she was a teenager. Everytime in the past when I tried to grow long then ended up cutting it (buzzing it sometimes), I could tell she was extremely disappointed. So now I am finally doing the right thing by leaving it alone and letting it grow.
My hair at this phase falls in my face all the time. I must admit at times it can be irritating, but I wear a hat most the time so it generally isn't a problem. It only reminds me my hair is getting longer. Thanks for asking and Peace!

...Treyn! I remember when you cut back in December and then returned (sorry to bring up the "bad" memories! Haha!). I remember thinking, "Wow, my hair is as long as Treyn's now!" Well, not anymore!! Your hair grew super fast! You're almost where you were before you cut. BTW, did your son stop growing his? I noticed he wasn't on your website anymore. Actually, would you mind if I sent you an update of mine to post? I guess it's been a while since I last posted. Keep up the good work, my friend! :)

First off, Fitmus, please send me an update of your hair. I would be more than happy to help you there because I would really like to see where your at right now in the growth department.
Secondly, my son did cut his hair. He couldn't handle it with how wavy and thick his hair is. Kids have a small threshold for patience, I guess. He did have a mullet for a little while after cutting it, but just the other night he had his mother cut all that also. No big deal, it's his hair, you know.
Actually, I am just a bit beyond where I was before the big mistake I made last year. It's alright to bring it up, man, I can handle it! LOL! Makes me stronger to keep going when I remember my past mistakes. Thanks again, friend, and send me that pic!! Peace!
Ok...

...I'll try to send one this weekend. As for your son, he should do whatever makes him happy. Who knows, maybe someday he'll follow in Dad's footsteps! Wow, I didn't know you were beyond where you before before the cut! That's fantastic! As far as it "your mistake", that's what you thought was best for you then...so I prefer "learning experience". Talk to you soon...
I'll be waiting... LOL! (n/t)
