January 2004 Progress Pictures

I have posted my January 2004 progress pictures on my website. When I started taking progress pictures in January 2003 at seven months I could not imagine that I would be posting pictures of me with beyond-shoulder-length hair in January 2004 at nineteen months. I have learned a lot over this past year. I am very pleased with my progress and I am sincerely grateful to everyone at the Men's Longhair Hyperboard for your support and encouragement. I am looking forward to another year of growth and long hair. In case you miss it on my home page I will mention here that I removed some of the 2003 pictures off the main page. All my 2003 pictures are still available on my 2003 Progress Picture Archive page. Finally, in 2004 I may only post progress pictures every two months. At this point my hair is not changing as much as it did in the early stages. To everyone who is struggling with the awkward stage hang in there and you will eventually achieve your long hair goals.

Absolutely Fabulous, Gollan! It appears to have grown an inch this past month.
The color is good, as is the middle part.

When I see your pic from Jan 2003, I'd never have thought your hair would be as long as it is one year later. If hair grows an average of 1/2 inch per month, it seems like yours is moving faster than average.

INCREDIBLE! Not only is your hair growing much thicker and longer than average but you also look as though you've gotten ten years younger. At the rate you're going, by next year you're likely to get carded! WHOA!
Well done! (NT)

... don't fret too much about whether you should part your hair down the center. My own observations and experience have simply taught me that hair (mine, anyway) is infinitely more manageable when parted down the center, as it grows longer and longer, than it is when trying to achieve any kind of styling with an off-center part.
Bottom line: Part your hair in whatever direction you feel most comfortable with, and gives you the best control over your hair. If you're finding you really do like the center part, cool! If not, cool!
Good luck, and grats again!
:)
